It may suprise most of you to know that amongst my dance music and punk band tracks I have a weak spot for the vocal art known as 'A capella'
Basically the ultimate in unplugged performances an A capella group will perform entirely without instruments.
My favourite versions of these group fall under the umbrella "Collegiate a cappella (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collegiate_a_cappell a)" Such ensembles are student-run and directed and can be found at many colleges and universities in the United States, and increasingly worldwide.
Here's College A Capella group "On The Rocks" with a casual/live performance of Insomniac.
