*i couldn't follow the tut exactly, there was an adjustment layer style i didn't have

mmmmm yeah waaaay to bright, text is to big and still the duplicate render doesn't do it for me
also add a simple border
create new layer> fill black and set to screen
then go in layer style and go to stroke
set to outside 1px thick and chose a suitable colour, black is most likely ya best bet

if u put a border to close the brightness abit it would look sweet, but nice man, i can see the effects with my uber eyes :)

k, taking both ur advice on board and this is what i came out with

*Cab: screen didn't take as much edge off the brightness, so i used soft light
