Girls, if you have never been fishing before, but would like to try, or if you simply lack confidence, there is an excellent course run at Casuarina College. I went on it a couple of years ago and it was excellent. You get casting practice, learn knots, the works. There are even giveaways and a couple of social nights included. E.g. one night we learnt how to clean and fillet fish then had a bar-b-que of the resulting efforts. Check it out at http://www.schools.nt.edu.au/csc/NightClasses.
