Just thought Id make a post bout my bike mods.

Just finished taking off the heat sheild, rear light / blinker assembly.... getting ready for an intergrated rear tail light, custom fender eliminator and arrow head blinkers......

cant wait.

Ill post more when it is all done.

So far I have removed the rear passenger pegs, the guard for the back brake reserve and taken off the side reflectors.

Have ordered the rear cowl, puig double bubble screen, arrow blinkers, tank pad, 06 - 07 rear tail light mod.....

I refuse to ride it to work, get it wet, leave it in the sun.

It is really my weekend'er, but I had the flu really for the first two weeks that I ownd it, so I havent done a lot of K's

I just like playing with it ( mechanically ) to make it my own.

Ill post more pics as I get the mods done if that is kewl with all.

not fussed though. Still have my pushbike to ride to work. Tail lights are not supposed to arrive till at least after the weekend.

ordered some kewl covers for the front and rear brake reservoirs. Makes the bike a little cleaner.

Hope someone doesnt just pinch em.... couldnt get em in Australia, had to order them from the states.

the tail light is split into two and when you put on the blinker, the side you active also makes the tail light turn into a blinker.

It is hard to explain.... blinker on right, right side of tail light is a blinker too ( orange LED's )

should have left the taller screen on..... hurt my neck on a ride yesterday. 265km / h into a headwind = what feels like whiplash today.

Ive got the greatest of respect for the MotoGP guys...... the strength needed just to hang on at that speed is UN - FKN - BELIEVABLE !

Feel my pain.

My fat arse needs a Twin. I have a K2 GSXR750 race bike and our Track Club has a gross weight handicap amature race series and I'm in with the 600 boys. The 1098 is a different story. But it's my skills (or lack thereof) that is my largest handicap with that bike.

Eastern Creek is the only track where I've been 260+. And it's only for a few seconds but it feels like I'm going to get thrown off the bike. We mainly race at wakefield park which is a 220km/h max straight. I still can't beat my time in a car their either. Just can't say no to KFC.
