Welcome to the Internet and people that don’t take shit.
is the catchphrase used in this article [ H E R E . . . (http://www.mulley.net/2007/10/02/monster-ireland-spam-irish-people-follow-it-up-with-legal-threats/) ]
So whats it all about?
Basically human resources giant "Monster" (ireland office) has been caught spamming unsolicited junk mail advertising their services to a number of people.
Unfortunately a couple of quite high profile net bloggers were part of the mass sends and have documented and spoken out about the situation.
Now, incredibly "Monster" the guilty party is now trying to hoist legal action against the bloggers for posting stuff around.
So where do Monster get off on their spam program by threatening legal action against people who do not like this practice?
Well if alleged monster 'employee' "Pedro Lucianai" is anything to go by they think quite a lot of themselves.
Now the funny thing is that when these blogs were first posted up suddenly a pro spam message from Pedro arrived as below.
To think that people spend time complaining about spam emails is terribly childish, Also going to this much trouble about a chap in Monster who is trying to probably get some business is equally as childish, these blogers have nothing better to do than complain, usually a lower class person, a waster or just a trouble maker.
Grow up michelle and put your energy elsewhere, its far more worthwhile!!!
it was at this point that people suspected Pedro was a plant from Monster, or at least a pro spam nut. To which he replied . . .
Like i said these blogers have nothing better to do than complain, usually a lower class person, a waster or just a trouble maker.
PS im not from monster, i work with m/s
Not so clever after all michelle egh......
Wow - this is where poor Pedro makes his HUGE newbie mistake, a quick IP trace on his messages to the blog lead back to *gasp* ...... MONSTER!
oh dear - this guy is going to go down as one of the biggest internet dumbasses of 2007
If you feel like supporting the bloggers, or just sticking it to the likes of big corporate spammers invading your inboxes uninvited then digg this article up, or post a comment on one of their blogs :)
