Anime or American cartoons

go what do you prefer, anime like naruto:), pokemon :blink: or old school american cartoons like looney tunes and the simpsons

for me it would have to be anime.....i'm an anime junky :hithere:

Mmm... Pokemon... But... I will have to go with the American Cartoons, "What's up doc?""Meep Meep" But if you take in, The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad. They win the vote for me.

Big big fan of Ninja Scroll, Akira and Astro Boy... but also a big fan of Simpsons, Futurama, FG, AD, etc...

I guess the anime is a bit more flexible as it allows both a comedic and serious approach with the style. You don't see an M-rated action/thriller cartoon from Disney for example...

yeah I'm same as grandinferno, I like all for different reasons. Grew up in awe of manga, yet chuckle every night to my collection of family guy. Wouldn't wanna do without any of them.

Yup im a lover of animation in all forms... Grew up with Astro boy, transformers and a number of other which i cant even think of at the moment and later on have watched futurama, simpons etc..... im still such a big kid... put cartoons in front of me and ill watch for hours.....ahhhh whats up doc!! gotta love bugs

I dont think I've really watched that much japanese animation. I'd have to say American here as I love my Family Guy and Simpsons !

I have some great memories of American animation (Transformers, He-Man, Dungeons and Dragons,the Simpsons etc), but I found that they faded with time

Anime however, is something I can watch even now, and go "Wow, that's cool! :hithere:" Even the old ones (Astroboy, G-force, Voltron etc) :cool:

Lols i think most of the 80's/90's ppl on here will be both as Astroboy etc from the Anime section but also Transformers, Simpsons, TMNT, Bugs etc from the american section.
