Now here's a variation, these two movies are both great IMHO but which one was more your style.
Both very realistic, both about the second world war, but both from VERY different perspectives.
My personal choice, and it was hard deciding this BTW as I loved both movies, was to go with The Thin Red Line as it was taken from a very personal and introspective view of the soldiers experience, extremely deep in parts but I almost felt that I understood (allbeit on a very shallow level) the fear, sadness and mixed emotion of the soldiers.
WHICH ONE DID YOU LIKE BEST AND WHY ?
