Someone noted the other day that I "adore taking photographs of the more picturesque sights in the *cough* LOVELY city I live in". There are (and I saw Auki mentioned this too) a lot of beautiful things in the top end that the locals consider a part of their everyday lives, and that we take for granted. It might not seem like it at first glance, but these shots were all taken in the Darwin area.

You must have a *really* expensive camera. The shots are very good.

I have a fairly expensive camera.

However, allow me to point out that it wasn't all my camera's doing:

The top one is what my camera did. The bottom one is what me + Photoshop did.

Ok, if I wasn't impressed before, I am now.

Any chance of a master class or a workthrough?
I would love to know how to use photoshop better...

I could help you out on a case-by-case basis if you like, but there's so much to learn about photoshop that it'd take a year to sum up everything I know about it. I could guide you through just the croc image, if you like.
