On Wednesday 30 Sep Buzzfeed posted a fake mcdonalds management memo, supposedly from the Managing director of Maccas Australia, instructing a member of staff to intentionally leave out items from customers drivethru orders to increase profit margins.

While a nice try at rumour generating the author looks like they have intentionally left a hint to show that its not a real letter. Either that or they were just careless and underestimated the searchability of the internet . . .

Robert Trugabe ? Say it out loud a couple of times . . . sounds very much like a parody on Robert MUGABE the unpopular president of Zimbabwe.

With that in mind take a closer look at the signature comparison of "Robert Trugabe" and the inset signature of Robert Mugabe which is freely downloadable directly off wikimedia commons [ h e r e (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Signature_ of_Robert_Mugabe_clear.svg) ]

We need to discuss the drive through orders as well. If the girls leave one item out of every second or third order, this adds up to several thousand dollars per week revenue. On smaller orders if they leave out the hot apple pie or fires [sic] and larger orders just 1 burger from every third order this totals around $2,118.00 per day. We need to work out if there is a way of making this a procedure without making it documented.

ohh this extra info from inqisitr.com

... First, the address is a suburban McDonald’s in Adelaide, as confirmed by Google Maps Street View here, no McDonald’s corporate head quarters (which for a the record is in Sydney.) ...

... and the ASIC records show that there is NO company in Australia registered under the name of McDonald’s Australia Pty Ltd, only McDonald’s Australia Ltd.
