I'm trying to troubleshoot some network issues at work and can't for the life of me find a spare pci NIC around here to isolate my results.
Anyone know how I can ensure my tcp/ip stack is reset? Don't wanna just rely on uninstalling and reinstalling the embedded NIC?

netsh is your friend :) ( I also assumed you were talking XP or similar lol ? )
at a command prompt you need to supply the command plus a filename for the log output example below
netsh int ip reset logfilename.txt
alternately you can specify the path to the filename in standard format.
this re-writes the regkeys pertaining to your adapter ( check the log file for details )
