This is a black and white high key image of a baby huntsman spider. It was about 2cm long. I'm sure Jen will like this one as she likes all sorts of wild and whacky creatures :p

Jeeeez... You wouldn't be any good camping then eh!... How do you cope when your out on patrol dude!?... I've had spiders crawl on my legs and even had a wolf spider on my bike's fuel tank the other day when I was heading home from work. :p

LMAO - by not telling my squad I am arachnophobic. They found out the other year tho when we went thru Arnhem Land and drove right thru a huge nesting colony of some sort of big hairy spider in thick terrain - at night.

The only warning I got was the sight of a huge grey cobwebbything about 15 metres wide between trees and a few dozen very large white shapes (the spiders) hanging in it and glowing in our headlight. Should point out here that while on patrol we detach the windscreens from the patrol vehicles as you would know ausmosis !

We ran straight thru this thing - my worst nightmare!

the language was clourful to say the least

LMAO!!.. I have to say I'm sure I would have freaked out a little as well. I've never came across a cobweb that wide wide before.... How were the rest of the guys in the vehicle?? :hithere:
