6 egg whites and pinch of salt, beat till stiff. Gradually add; 11/2 cups caster sugar mixed with 2 dessertspoons of cornflour.
Beat till shiny; then add 1 tbspn vinegar and 1 tspn vanilla essence.

Pile onto a tray (I use a pizza tray) which has been lined with alfoil and put into preheated oven 130° C for about 11/2 hours until crust is crisp. Leave in oven to cool.
Fill with whipped cream mixed with a bit of yogurt so it isn’t too sweet. I slice strawberries or bananas into the cream/yogurt mixture then decorate with more fruit.
