Suggestions for basic photo editing tutorial?

I'm writing an new basic photo editing tutorial, any suggestions for techniques I should cover? So far I've done Cropping, Brightness/Contrast, Background Removal, Skin Optimization, Red Eye Removal and Sharpening.

does cropping include basic 'framing' options as well? I get lots of questions about that from people :)

Cropping just covers how to crop unwanted details while keeping the original photo proportions. What do you mean by framing? Adding a simple solid colour border by extending the canvas, right?

yeah border options would be good :) !, presenting the picture in a web based environment etc. Get a few different techniques just looking around the photography section here but I don't know how to get the balance !
