hockey was good
ppl over there just care bout winning...
they bag'd out the rangers heaps cause they played crap...

some 14year old girl sang the national anthem...it was pretty good
and everyone started cheering at the end..it was kinda surreal

Not bad shots of the hockey :p that game the Coyotes (guys in white) won 5-1 against the Rangers (guys in blue) It was the first time the Coyotes coach Wayne Gretzky had returned to MSG (Madson Square Garden) since he retired as a player in 99. what were the seat tickets prices like? i went to a game in Toronto around the same time last year and i was sitting in row 15 from the glass which is roughly about where those ppl standing up in the bottom picture. That was about $200 and the only free seat in the place.

awesome...cause my parents didnt go...so 3 teachers and another 30odd kids...

my seat was around row 60 and that was for $80...but it wasnt a full house..so we scabbed a few rows closer

That isn't too bad to get into MSG for a game but it was likely because they were only playing Phoenix who are not a very good team even if they do have the best player to ever play coaching them. Did they do any sort of pre game show like lights or anything they did that in Toronto. Did they also try and pump the crowd up during breaks in play?

yeah they did...but no one bothered cause they were playing so bad...they played music whenever there was a break in play...

during the major breaks, they had kids playing hockey and a father son dressed as giant hockey puck race.

now that would have been a laugh to see they had similar things during the breaks in Toronto as well. Toronto lost the game i went to 4-1 to Boston but the crowd was still loud and packed!
