Hi All,
I need some advice on which type of picture looks better. Thinking about getting one printed and framed as a gift, but i'm being somewhat indecisive.

I vote for number 2. Offset to the side and I like the contrast between B&W and colour. You should start a poll.

I think #4, green background contrasts nicely with the pink.

I'm leaning towards 4, though I'd crop up or clone out the leafy bit at the bottom centre.
Depending on your preference with photoshop-ing images a couple of other techniques you might use to emphasie the flower is, you could bump up the saturation to get a bit more separation between the flower and leafy green rather than a selective colouring like the first 2 or add some gausian blur to the background to give more of a bokeh effect (shallower depth of field).

P2, maybe darken the background a little more

speaking from a purely art perspective and not photography, as a gift I'd go for number 2, not only is it your photography here but your input with photoshop that personalises that gift even further.
I like the contrast balance the way it is there, the subject of the photo is a delicate pink flower, and the mild greys suit it perfectly

I know this sounds weird but number 1 would look really good rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise - it would work really well as a design element... in something! I can imagine these new fandangled swirly vector lines with stylised flowers and stuff... with subtley placed type. lol ;)
