A little, it's got a crapload of settings you can adjust. You can fine tune the AF on it too lolz. Other than that it's just like other Canons, controls are very similar. This thing is built like a tank, love how the battery grip is inbuilt hehe.

I'll see what I can contribute to the festive theme :p ;)

very niiiice. I was reading the other day about the unbelievable battery life. (on top of the amazing low light ability and high frame rate) - I want one!

Yeah mate, ISO3200 on it is like ISO800 on my 5D! and the 5D's no slouch at low light! Battery life is apparently amazing , I don't know yet cuz I only just charged the batteries up.

I've seen a few test images at an effective ISO 12800 (6400 +2ev) and they have the same noise as iso 1600 on my 10D!!

Mine doesn't need any armour, it's already tank. The camera pictured with armour there looks like a Niiiiikon

Let's play "Spot the Nikon"

http://www.pbase.com/vthian/athens_olympics_2004

Have a look through the photos in the site above and see how many Nikons you can spot...

There's a prize if you can get into double digits :p

Good point mate, go to any public event and you will struggle to see a Nikon amongst the sea of White Canon lenses ;)

it looks like a 300/2.8L IS USM - Retails for somewhere between 6K-9K It's a very nice lens. One of the sharpest Lenses Canon Makes (I think I've heard it refered to as THE sharpest).

If it's connected to the 1d camera that's another 6K and if it's a 1ds that's about 12K!

Incidently - I think you'd normally find her on the other end of the camera - I suspect she's just holding it for the photoG ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adriana_Lima

1200\5.6 - It's usually only discussed is hushed tones like something of Myth and Legend. It's said to be "special order" only, cost "Six Figures" (Although Wiki says it's discontinued and initially cost US$89,579) and there are very few of them in the world - mostly owned by the large journalistic houses.

Apparently it has lots of problems with heat and smoke haze :p
